In our history lesson this week, we learnt all about Cherie Zamazing and looked at what she does for a job. We found out she illustrates stories and even wrote a book called Peters Pebbles. After reading her story, we had a discussion about our favourite pebbles and then went to design our own pebbles on the playground!🖍
We celebrated the life of Stephen Lawrence on Wednesday and learned all about diversity by painting our own rocks with positive messages. Well done Year 1.
